Modern Languages

The Modern Languages Department is for students who aspire to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of other languages and cultures. Students will develop critical and analytical thinking skills while broadening their vision of the world. Proficiency in languages and competence in cultures enhance career opportunities and prepare students to become global citizens.

The department offers language courses of Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish. Spanish offers two tracks: general track Spanish (I-III), professional track Spanish for medical personnel, business and law enforcement, as well as Spanish for Heritage Speakers.

Additionally, the department offers MLG courses taught in English, which study worldwide cultures, literatures and cinema.
