Advanced Standing RN to BS Completion
The first upper division nursing courses were offered in fall, 2007. Each year in the fall we accept a cohort of 40 students to our RN to BS Completion Track. RNs who are interested in completing their BS degrees at Farmingdale are advised to start completing other program requirements (non nursing courses) while they are waiting for acceptance into the program.

All graduates must have a minimum of 60 total liberal arts and science credits to graduate.
Additional requirements will be determined individually depending on whether or not the applicant is General Education exempt or not. Students who did not complete a course in Oral Communications at the AS level are required to do so.
Students who entered the SUNY system after fall, 2000 must complete all General Education requirements as outlined on pgs. 52-54 of the College Catalog.
All graduates must take a minimum of 30 credits at Farmingdale to meet residency requirements.
