Career Assessment Tools
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
The MBTI is one of the most widely-used instruments worldwide for understanding personality styles and differences and is based on the work of the psychologist, Carl Jung. The MBTI is used to measure psychological type and individual preferences which refer to the way we become energized, gather information, make decisions and relate to the outside world. These preferences help to guide us to our best-fit careers.
Self-Directed Search (SDS)
The SDS is a respected career interest inventory designed to help people find a fit between their interests and the correlating career options which will be most satisfying. The SDS is based on Dr. John Holland's theory that people of different interests and personality types may find different work environments more to their liking.
